Can just recommend for a city break
Cozy room, friendly staff, with Kelly at the front desk being helpful , and the great location provided easy access to explore the area.

Good location
Poor cleanliness, chain on door ripped off. Light not working, main light. Shower curtain clean but in desperate need of new one, discoloured at bottom. Non slip mat in shower cubicle overs the drain hole, nearly flooded bathroom and no where to put toiletries in shower. Bed clean but not made properly, looks like house keeping in a rush. Did tell reception staff and have apologised. Thank you

A Pleasant Stay with Great Service
The staff's really good hospitality was nice, especially their willingness to accommodate special requests. The breakfast options at the onsite restaurant were a highlight, with fresh local ingredients. A useful tip for night owls, check the light switches before bedtime!

The whole place was tired, needed money spending on it - new windows, floorboards, furniture, doors, and carpets. I have never before used an ensuite situated in a cupboard, accessed by climbing over a bed! Even the outside of the building looked tired. We were refused check in until after 3pm. This establishment does not seem to fit the Best Western type of hotel. We will not be returning to the Falstaff,

Hotel was dated. Room felt dirty due to old soiled carpet Old furniture and room generally in a very poor condition. Net curtains dirty and ripped. Heating was on constant, valves at radiator did not work. Towels in bathroom dirty
